ABOUT PHOTIMI KARA

I am a Boulder native. I have worked in the mortgage industry as both a processor and a loan officer for 4 years. I started in the industry as a loan officer and attended loan officer boot camp at the mortgage training institute. While learning to be a loan officer I was offered a position as a processor and felt it would help me become a better loan officer learning from the "inside out". I found myself to be less of a sales person than is required to be thriving loan officer. I also found myself to be an excellent processor and more comfortable in that role.

I do maintain my Mortgage Brokers license as I feel it helps me to keep up with certain changes in the industry and helps me to make sure the brokers I work with are compliant in all ways with the State, which is critical at this time in Colorado. I do have high ethical standards and integrity and would never infringe on the relationship between my clients and their clients.

I feel I offer more than the "average" processor as I do more than package and deliver loans. I have great attention to detail and always try to look at a file from the underwriter's perspective. I am always trying to spot problems before they happen and like to think outside the box to make deals work. I offer quick turn times, thoroughness through all aspects of the loan process and maintain professional yet friendly relationships. I have a very high closed loan ratio and the brokers I work with tell me I have made their lives easier and more profitable.
